I recently took my 8 year old daughter to have lunch at Chuck E Cheese. We ate our pizza and then we took off to play some of the games. Our Chuck E Cheese has this giant tube slide attached to the ceiling. The kids climb up in it and when they have had enough of the claustrophobia they slide down this huge slide. My daughter was up in the tube pretending to spy on me when it happened to me. The cutest little oriental girl came over to where you enter the tubes to climb up to the ceiling. Of course that is exactly where I am standing watching my daughter spying on me. This cute little girl, she must have been about 4 years old, keeps looking way up at the ceiling and then says to me, “I don’t want to leave my tokens here if I go up.” Well since I don’t want to be accused by a 4 year old of stealing her tokens, I tell her to go give the tokens to her mommy or daddy. This cute little 4 year old puts her hands on her hips looks me dead in the eyes and says, “I don’t have a daddy. I have 2 mommies, but I am not a freak!” I burst out laughing, I tried not to but I could not help it. Of course my 8 year old wants to know what I am laughing at so I tell her. Her response was, “She is not a freak because she has 2 mommies, she is a freak because she said she was not a freak!” You gotta love kids!
