Question Of The Week

Question of the week: If you could take off for a day all by yourself where would you go and what would you do?

I would pack a lunch, grab a chair, plenty of sunscreen, some stuff to play in the sand with and hit the beach! I would play in the waves and build sand castles all day long!

  1. Hmmm … Me and the beach are not good friends. I only go for the kids.

For me, there is a little park in the centre of Paris, which whilst being surrounded by the some of the most beautiful architecture and having many small children, it somehow feels like the most tranquil place on earth.

I would take a good book and would alternate between spending the day there and in the nearby café drinking hot chocolate. I would round it off with a very rare steak followed by crème brûlée from the street restaurant on the Champs-Élysées.

  2. P.S. Nice to see the purple back. 🙂

  3. I’ll assume that I can blink there and back since it’s only for one day so I won’t count travel time. I would go to the shores of Lake Superior on the verge of a storm. I love the north shore of Minnesota. There is no peace for me anywhere else on earth.

  4. could I find a cabin in the woods? One with plumbing of course…cuz I’m gonna want a long hot bath. I’ll take a good book or my favorite blanket and just sleep.

  5. I also would hide in a cabin up in the mountains near a lake, and just do nothing! I would bring along some books and magazines and just sit out on the porch and look at the lake or read my books! I would have coffee and “goodies” along!
