Question of the week: What do you like to do on rainy days?
If it is not lightening I love to walk in the rain. I am the strange mom on the block who lets her kids get in their swimsuits and go outside to play in the rain. If it is lightening I love to play board games.

/ May 27, 2009When we were kids we always played in the rain and would mess around in mud puddles in grandma’s driveway. Such great memories.
I love to close the blinds, turn on my watering can lights and lay back, cover with comforter, get HUGE bowl of popcorn and read. If I happen to catch some ZZZ’s, it’s just icing on the cake.

/ May 27, 2009I’m with Joy. That’s just about what I would have written. If it was winter I would pray the rain turns into snow and I would start a fire in the fireplace. In summer I would sit on the porch.

/ May 27, 2009I”m that mom too! LOL But come on.. The weather here is like that. During the summer it rains every single day and unless its a thunderstorm with lightening there is no reason to get bothered by it.. So they get wet.. big deal!
If its lightening and storming. I prefer to sleep! Ahh to sleep! The kids prefer to whine about the storm or watch tv..

/ May 27, 2009I also love the rain. The fireplace going, with the smell of coffee in the air…yes! Rain does not bother me, I love it! *(*

/ May 28, 2009yep sleep is good on a rainy day or stormy night. But what usually happens is I am stuck running my regular errands in it and walking around with sticky hair cuz of the hairspray 😦
my ideal spot would be my comfy blankets, pillow, good movie, and a good cup of coffee.

/ May 29, 2009Curl up under a quilt with a book. 🙂 I encourage my kids to go and play in the rain if it isn’t storming. Sometimes I’ll sit on our covered porch and watch the rain too.
