  1. I don’t think I could pick just one member of the band myself! Especially their solo stuff. Paul McCartney’s Pipes of Peace was my very first album I ever bought with my own money when I was 9. As I entered my teens I really got into John Lennon’s music. I remember taping every single hour of the King Bisquit Flower Hour when they played the Lost Lennon Tapes. I wish I still had those old tapes! I learned to appreciate George Harrison’s music when I entered my 20’s. As for Ringo, I can’t say that I really like his solo stuff. Just not my cup of tea.
My favorite song is a toss up of Let It Be or Yesterday.

  2. I’ve always had a soft spot for John Lennon’s Imagine and George Harrison’s Got My Mind Set on You.

  3. I also liked Yesterday.
    Ringo was cool!

  4. I have a hard time picking one favorite also but back in the day, Ringo was a favorite because I liked his goofiness. I love them all separately too. I love the bagpipes in some of Paul’s songs now. Imagine is a great song and I do love Obla-de-obla-da.

  5. I always liked John Lennon. The man could write songs like no other!

For me it’s a tossup between Hey Jude and Obla-de-obla-da.

  6. Oh, how I love The Beatles. My goodness, I even went to Liverpool on my honeymoon. I am so so so sad that I can’t get the new stero and mono box sets or Rock Band.

My favorite Beatle was Paul, but I was four when I first fell in love so looks drew me in first. But his heart is what kept me a fan of his almost 35 years later. I know John is brilliant, funny and interesting, but to leave your child and not see him for years, then die, and leave him no money? Poor Julian Lennon. My heart breaks for him. This is why Hey Jude is one of my favorite Paul songs, as Paul, not John, was the one to write a song about Julian and his parents divorce to comfort him.

I also love Something, A Day in the Life, and Let It Be very much. It is hard to pick just one favorite, been listening to them way too long.
