The Color Purple

Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Purple is associated with royalty. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It conveys wealth and extravagance. Purple is associated with wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic.

According to surveys, almost 75 percent of pre-adolescent children prefer purple to all other colors. Purple is a very rare color in nature; some people consider it to be artificial.

Light purple is a good choice for a feminine design. You can use bright purple when promoting children’s products.

Light purple evokes romantic and nostalgic feelings.
Dark purple evokes gloom and sad feelings. It can cause frustration.

(I think this pretty much describes me!! Just Kidding I think!)

  5. When I was 10 or 12, I convinced my Mom to paint my bedroom lavender. As a surprise, she bought me a purple bedspread and my grandma made me a purple pillow to go with it. Purple makes me all warm and fuzzy because of it. I still have fond memories of that room! 🙂

We made a kid’s version of the song. I was wondering if you would check it out?

  10. u didn’t mention how you felt about swearing…I’m prone to it but want to mind my p’s and q’s and f’s when visiting other people’s blog unless of course they are prone to swearing too :)….not mentioning no names but I see a couple of them on your blogroll!!!….and they are my best buddies!

Let’s put it this way, I grew up in a Navy family! I think my first word was F#@% but I have gotten a little bit better since I have kids of my own now. Why just the other day my youngest daughter screamed out “Son of a Banded Legged Murphy!” It made me so proud!

Not fun when it’s doctor ordered. My BP’s high reminds me I suppose I should get back on track. My backs been wacked so it’s difficult. Anyway just saying hi and enjoy your blog.
